Saty Namvar and Pratha Samyrajah (SATY+PRATHA) are an image-making team, back in the country of their upbringing after several years spent in the UK. The self-taught duo is known for their character-driven narratives, evident in both their photography and film work. In a short time, they have carved a niche for themselves by applying a portraiture sensibility to their fashion editorial work for publications such as i-D, ELLE, Vogue Japan and Esquire. Commercial clients include Mercedes-Benz, Christian Louboutin, ALDO, Uniqlo and Bank of Montreal. In addition to their print works, SATY+PRATHA have exhibited several film works at The Centre Pompidou, Paris, and have been awarded by The Magenta Foundation, PDN and American Photo.

The duo currently split their time between Toronto, London and New York.
